Community Disability Support Workers (CDSW)
Community Disability Support Workers (CDSW) provide supervision, care, and skill development opportunities to persons with disabilities to pursue and fulfill their goals, objectives and aspirations.
Community Disability Support Practitioners (CDSP)
The Community Disability Support Practitioner (CDSP) provide supervision, care, and skill development opportunities to persons with disabilities to pursue and fulfill the goals, objectives, and aspirations of those individuals. The role of the CDSP is directed towards complex and specialized client support needs. The CDSP covers a broader range of service, support options, person-centered planning and plan implementation.
Family Support Aides
Family Support Aides provide services to families with children who have special needs. Supports are delivered in the family home and/or in the community. Service delivery honours the differences between families and are individualized, based on family choice and needs. Hours are provided outside of school schedule and can include hourly respite, childcare, personal care, community support, recreational activities, developmental support or behavioral support.

Employee Health & Safety Program
The Action Group is committed to a proactive Health & Safety program that protects our staff, our clients, community members and agency property from injury or loss. No activity is more important than protecting our health and safety. Additionally, the agency has a Health and Safety Committee with members from a variety of programs within the agency. The committee meets quarterly to discuss concerns, goals and initiatives brought forward by site Health and Safety Representatives. Furthermore, the committee reviews accidents, incidents, and control measures to minimize and/or reduce workplace hazards; the personal safety and health of each employee of the agency is of primary importance.
